Michael graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. Michael enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1992 and served as a machine gunner from 1992 to 1998 completing his service as a Sergeant. While in the Marine Corps, Michael graduated from Chaminade University in Honolulu, Hawaii with a Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration in 1998. Michael attended Widener University School of Law in Delaware from 1998 though 2001, graduating with a Juris Doctorate degree. While in law school Michael worked as a paralegal at the prestigious Richards, Layton & Finger, P.A. law firm and also worked as a legal research assistant for Delaware criminal defense attorney, Joseph Hurley. Michael was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 2002. Throughout his 23 years as an attorney, Michael has been in private practice, concentrating in criminal defense. Michael has also served as a Deputy State's Attorney and Assistant State's Attorney for Cecil County. Michael also worked as an Assistant Public Defender. Michael has successfully defended cases from First Degree Murder, Rape and Armed Robbery to DUI cases. The cornerstone of my practice is that I give competent and affordable representation to those individuals who have been charged with a criminal offense.
